Our clinic is fitted with the latest veterinary anaesthetic equipment to monitor all patient undergoing surgical procedures. Our multi-parametric monitors include; oesophageal temperature, non-invasive blood pressure, pulse oximetry, capnography and electrocardiogram. Our vets and nurses have undergone training in the application and use of all equipment in our hospital.
Any anaesthetic carries risk, however with prior preparation these risks can be minimised. Before any anaesthetic, our team will assess your pet, talk about any ongoing disease histories or medication being used at home, and formulate the most reasonable plan to carry out a safe procedure. Additional tests may include blood work chemistries, blood cell counts, blood clotting times and imaging studies.
If you have any questions or concerns about your pet going under anaesthesia, please speak to our team at admission.
